Guest Mooring Information

The Club welcomes Reciprocal visitors.

Please provide a letter of introduction from your Yacht Club and/or have a membership card when you arrive. CYC will provide you with a guest cash authorization card where you can pay either cash or credit card. You will also receive a Dock key with a deposit of $25.00 to use on the Dock gates, restrooms on the docks, & the dock carts around the club.

Guest Boat slips are open to members of reciprocal clubs only, not the general public.

When you arrive, please proceed to the Dock Office, located at the beginning of the parking lot along side the rolling gate. There, the Dock Master will assign paper work, a dock key ($20.00 deposit) and other important information.

Check-in Procedures

Upon arrival, please check-in at the Front Desk located on the second floor of the main clubhouse. If you arrive by boat after regular business hours or on a Monday or Tuesday, you may check-in the following morning. A copy of your Credit Card will be made and a guest pass issued. Please present your guest pass when purchasing food, beverages, ship store items, or slip fees beyond the 1 day grace period.

Payment Terms

Purchases must be paid with American Express, Visa, or MasterCard. Cash & Checks are not accepted.

Rules and Regulations

Guests are required to comply with all club rules and regulations, which include no use of cell phones inside the clubhouse. In addition, the Club is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the Club. Smoking is allowed outdoors except within 20 feet of building entrances or where food is served, in the maintenance area, on Club vessels, and near any fuels or flammable chemicals.

Privileges

Guest and Moorage reciprocal privileges include use of CYC’s dining and bar facilities, ship store sales, swimming pool, and guest moorage. Moorage usage is limited to two separate seven-day periods per reciprocal guest per calendar year.

Mooring

Guests (visiting yachtsmen) will be allowed to stay in the CYC marina as long as they are members of a reciprocal yacht club. California Yacht Club will honor the reciprocal guest’s yacht club mooring policy up to a maximum of (1) free night. Additional nights will be charged at $2.50 per foot up to a maximum stay of two separate seven day periods per reciprocal guest per calendar year. Power options vary from slip to slip, so please inquire. All power adapters and connections are the responsibility of the visitor and will not be supplied by the Club.

Please remember to have your home yacht club card and CYC Guest Card with you at all times.
